Cara Delevingne, "It's shameless to discuss women's bodies just to sell papers #bloated."

Cara Delevingne doesn’t mess around when it comes to false rumors, especially when it involves insulting women’s bodies in the process just to gain clicks on a website.

This week, The Sun published an article about Cara saying she was “bloated” during a casting call for the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and that’s why she hasn’t walked since 2013. Despite what the publication said, the real reason was actually because she was shooting a movie in North Carolina called Paper Towns. (As hinted in the letter posted below)

That’s when Victoria’s Secret’s Chief Marketing Officer, Edward Razek, stepped in sending Cara a letter saying that what The Sun said is a “complete fabrication” and that she doesn’t even have to audition.

“As a matter of fact, you were the first person invited, months ahead of anyone else,” he wrote in the letter. “The alleged casting, where supposedly disparaging remarks were made, never happened. There was NO casting. You had already been enthusiastically confirmed.”

Standing up for women everywhere, Cara took to Instagram to say, “It’s shameless to discuss women’s bodies just to sell papers #bloated.”
