Heartbreak as Queensland mum-of-five Chelsea Turvey dies suddenly aged just 33

A Queensland man has been widowed after his wife of eight years died suddenly aged just 33.

Chelsea Turvey, from Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast, tragically passed away on December 6.

The mum-of-five’s cause of death has not been publicly revealed, but her loved ones are said to be “devastated” by the loss of their “beautiful, young, and kind” mother, daughter, wife, friend and sister.

Mrs Turvey had recently celebrated her eight year wedding anniversary with husband Jamie Turvey, also known as Jimmy, The Courier Mail reports.

She leaves behind her five kids Atreyu, Alexis, Kruize, Jaxon and Tyson.

The young mum’s best friend, Hollie Simpson, has started a GoFundMe on behalf of the family to help provide support during the tough times ahead.

“On 6 December, our darling Chels grew her angel wings,” the page reads.

“The devastating news that she had left this life has left so many heartbroken.

“Young, beautiful and kind, Chelsea’s passing has left a hole in our hearts.”

The fundraiser has raised $10,000 of its $20,000 goal since efforts began on December 7.

“If you were lucky enough to know Chelsea and have her touch your heart like she did so many, hold these memories close and carry her with you always,” Miss Simpson wrote.

“As friends and family, we have all witnessed the incredible love and kindness she poured into others, and in this heartbreaking time we want to ease the financial burden for her family to allow them to focus their time and energy on the children.

“Rest easy our angel, we will take care of Jimmy and the kids.”

She also left behind her mother Sonia, sisters Haylee, Dakoda and Alani and her brother Kaleb.

“Everyone who knew her loved her for her pure heart, her kindness and the light she brought to any room she walked into,” Miss Simpson added.

“Her friends loved her for many reasons, she was funny, caring, loyal, loved to have fun and make memories and most importantly she was always there for anyone who needed her.

“She will be remembered for being a fierce lover, an incredible partner, mother, daughter, sister and friend. This is a heavy loss.”

Tributes have flooded social media in the news since Mrs Turvey’s passing, with many describing their “heartache” at the fact she was gone.
