Omi Returns With New Single 'Masterpiece'

The Summer of 2015 was officially the summer of Omi. The Jamaican singer whose real name is Omar Samuel Pasley took over the world with his smash hit ‘Cheerleader’. The feel-good track which was remixed by Felix Jaehn was the catalyst for Omi’s breakout debut album ‘Me 4 U‘ and follow up single ‘Hula Hoop’.

Now, Omi has teamed up with the German DJ and producer Felix Jaehn once again to create their new banger; ‘Masterpiece’. The new track will no doubt get the world dancing and make everyone feel good. It’s another sure-fire summer hit and will surely become a club staple across the Globe in the coming months.

The uptempo single encourages women everywhere to find beauty in themselves as they are, in a digital age that often alters society’s views on beauty.

Speaking to Billboard about his new single, musical growth and upcoming album, Omi says: I think it [Masterpiece] captures one aspect of it. The album has so much regarding diversity, well, the vibe of each song [differentiates.] I am happy that it is setting an example. It is very radio-friendly. So, it is easy to listen to. But, at the same time, it shows that some [effort] was put into the project”.
