Taylor Marshall is an American YouTube commentator, from a Catholic perspective; writer, academic, and advocate for traditionalist Catholicism. His books include Infiltration: The Plot to Destroy the Church from Within.
He is an independent candidate for President of the United States in 2024.
Taylor is married to Joy McPherson, with whom he has eight children. He was an Episcopalian deacon, and youth minister at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church. He was ordained an Episcopal priest in 2005. The next year, he and his wife converted to Catholicism, receiving confirmation in 2006.
Taylor’s maternal grandfather was Philip/Phillip Richard Koppel (the son of Martin/Marten Koppel and Olga Alezandria/Alexandra Kallstrom/Kjellstrom). Philip was born in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, and was a doctor, musician, and singer. Martin was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, to Swedish parents, Max Koppel and Hilda Huschsohns. Olga was born in Finland, and spoke Swedish, the daughter of Johan Kjellstrom and Sofia Hojar. She was likely of Finland-Swedish background.
Taylor’s maternal grandmother was Rosemary Clark (the daughter of Albert/Elbert Arthur Clark and Margaret V. Calahan). Rosemary was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Albert was the son of Walter Palmer Clark and Mary Sheridan Carpenter.
