Dear Andrés,

As you well know, there are moments and situations that stay with us forever, whether because of the pain they cause us or the joy they fill us with. Everything we experience in life is what makes us who we are...

You were a very special person in Dani's life, because that's how Dani felt about you and that's what he told us. If I had to look back at moments that involved you, every single one of them would put a smile on my face.

I remember that 11th July 2010, during which I still don't know why I felt compelled to sit down in front of a television set I hadn't looked at for months. Still forcing myself to keep going when faced with a situation that life one day put me in... I felt that something special was still yet to come. Detached from football and the world in general, I managed to get into the game before getting emotional and crying at your dedication. I couldn't tell you why... it was just one of those inexplicable things, but seconds before the goal I sensed what was going to happen. I covered my eyes with my hands and started crying before the ball had even hit the net and then again when I saw your dedication... Heartfelt emotions that only people with a special sensitivity like you, can achieve.

I'll never tire of thanking you for having such a huge heart, for always being yourself, for your humility, your willingness, and for always being the best role model possible; a mirror into which many people should look at themselves
